This event will provide you with practical solutions and strategies to deal with common situations that arise when instructing group classes involving “problem” dogs and/or attending group classes with a “problem” dog (either yours or someone else’s).
Useful for both instructors and attendees, this workshop will include a practical simulation involving working through strategies from simple to complicated, and will delve into the issues that arise for both instructors and participants when dogs are disruptive in class to ensure that classes are a good learning environment for everyone.
Please note that this workshop is not going to give you solutions for serious issues such as severe reactivity and anxiety, however it will cover both short term techniques that you can use “on the spot” as well as techniques for ongoing rehabilitation.

Working place ticket purchases
Dogs must not have any behavioural and/or reactivity issues and be comfortable in new/strange environments and around both people/strangers and dogs.
Whilst there will not be any direct dog to dog contact, bringing your dog along allows you to practice the techniques learnt throughout this event.
